1st Responders Certification Course

This is an intermediate - advanced course where statute requires physical demonstrations of proficiency in techniques learned in training and the length of course: 28 hours over a 3 day period. We will schedule the training with you to provide a convenient training and instruction experience at our private range. Our range is covered from the weather and is also lighted.

​As an advanced course the maximum student count is 6 with a minimum requirement of 2.

The course is designed to certify first responders (who are already LTC holders} who have a desire to carry a handgun on duty as a 1st Responder. Classroom instruction as well as field instruction and proficiency demonstrations will be done in accordance to House Bill 1069. After successful completion of this course, first responders will receive a certificate of completion for the training course under section 411.184, Government code.
